Spector Ops -Quick Take

“Specter Ops” is a hidden movement game for 2-5 players. I honestly didn’t expect to like it because it isn’t the usual mechanics I gravitate to, however, I had a really good time playing.

In a two-player game one player plays as two hunters and the other player is the agent with just one mini. The hunters and agents have their own special effects, and the agent gets special equipment to help them move around the board undetected. Each player takes turns moving around the board, with the agent doing so in secret on a sheet of paper that replicates the board. The hunter has to chase down the agent before the agent escapes with the 3 objectives. There is also a built-in timer of 40 turns and if the agent fails to escape with the objectives within that turn limit the hunter wins.

This is a fun game that I look forward to playing more, so far on my end I love being the agent.
