Everdell – Quick Take

“Everdell” is one of our favorite games and we finally got around to playing it with the “Spirecrest” expansion! This expansion adds so much to the game. Cards that add ongoing negative seasonal effects that affect each player independently depending on the season they are in, map tiles that add an end game scoring mechanism, cards that you can buy at the end of the seasons that give you different effects, and even special Big Critters that have a special ability (and a cute meeple). I definitely recommend this expansion if you want to mix up the game a little more, however I can see us still playing with just the base game.
